About TMH

The Owner/operator of The Mutt Hut is Jamie Kora. Her love for animals has always been a driving factor in her work; you may recognize her from working at our local pet store. She has been providing loyal and loving pet care and services to the Taber area for years. She currently has two Turkish Kangal dogs named Niya and Kolt, a BIG floofy tabby cat named Mavie, and a pretty silver torbie cat named Chai.

On the technical side of things, Anna Hawkins is working hard on the website and social media accounts (you may recognize her from our local pet store, also). Anna has two German Shepherd dogs named Malik and Vada, a feisty little Snowshoe Siamese cat named Zele, and a pintabbo cat named Quille.

In the summer of 2022, Jamie completed the Dog Grooming Course at Prestige Dog Grooming School in Calgary, Alberta, earning her Dog Grooming Certification. The home-salon renovations turned out great, the purchase and installation of professional grooming equipment took longer than expected, an online presence/website was developed, the Wait List grew longer and longer, and finally in November 2022, The Mutt Hut was launched.
