When the dog gets to doing what a dog does best, sometimes a brush and cologne is just not enough, so we offer great freshen-up packages to get your fur-baby allowed back on the couch. All bathing services include a warm and soothing scrub, blow-dry, ear cleaning, nail trim, and dog-safe perfume spritz.

Standard Scrub
Scrub, dry, and brush a nice clean coat. No trimming.

Kennel Cut
The Kennel Cut is a short shave-down on the entire body and face, leaving fluffy tail & ears (when possible). This style is often used as a result of extreme mats.

Teddy Bear Cut
The Teddy Bear Cut is offered in both long and short options. The fur is clipped the same length over the whole body to create a plush, even coat. After a thorough blow dry, the entire body is line-brushed and clipped to the desired length. The final touches are added by hand-scissoring the fur to achieve the adorable soft round look of a teddy bear.

Breed-Specific Cut
The Mutt Hut also provides grooming styles tailored to your dog's specific breed. Breeds that are currently offered include: Cocker Spaniel, West Highland Terrier, Schnauzer, and Poodle.

Severe cases cost double the size fee: this includes neglected long nails, and/or dogs that are biting or excessively thrashing, which can be dangerous for the pet and the groomer.
The Puppy Package
It is important to introduce your puppy to grooming and healthcare routines at a very young age; we recommend the 1st session around 12 weeks/3 months old, and the 2nd session around 6 months old. The Mutt Hut team can help your little one have the best experience at the salon, setting your puppy up for success. We are very patient and gentle with all our clients, but puppies especially need extra time to understand the process and learn what is expected of them during routine grooming and healthcare.
The Puppy Package includes:

The Doodle Den
Doodles are a cross between a poodle (a non-shedding dog with hair rather than fur) and breed of dog that sheds, and they come in a variety of colors and sizes. The generation and the type of puppy you choose will determine how much your new doodle will shed.
The long hair that grows as the outer layer is the poodle hair, long and curly. The shedding fur is the undercoat. When the under coat tries to shed away from the skin it tends to tangle below the poodle hair. This causes matting at the skin and sometimes goes unseen for a long time.
It is important as a doodle owner to brush your doodle 3 times a week to keep any matting under control. This leaves longer grooming style options at the
salon, including the fluffy round teddy bear cut we all know and love. If too much matting has accumulated, sometimes a shave is needed for the best interest of the dog. However, a few options may be available depending on the condition of the coat, and a conversation with our Certified Groomer will help you decide.

All prices are subject to change depending on your dog's needs. Your fur-baby's coat condition will be assessed upon arrival. A quote may be given during the assessment OR after the bathing process to better determine a proper coat length that can be kept.
Cat Grooming Services
The Mutt Hut is pleased to offer the services of a cat groomer. Please remember, grooming a cat is NOT the same as grooming a dog. All cats have a Timer; we get a limited amount of time to work on them before that Timer goes off and the groom is over - therefore, all cat grooming services are subject to change / evolve depending on your cat's individual Timer.
Sanitary Trim $35
No bath. Clip only the bum fluff for better hygiene. Includes a nail trim.
Dry Style $45
No bath. Fully brush out the coat, minor tidy-up trimming of flyaway hairs and the paws. Includes a nail trim.
Bath + Lion Cut $75
Bath, blow-dry, and a stylish lion cut for hygiene and maintenance. Includes a nail trim.
